Blue Moon (by Dianne Borsenik)

Blue Moon
by Dianne Borsenik
[from HardDrive/SoftWear (2009, Crisis Chronicles Press)]
lunar fingers
elongated
bone-white
penetrate
cloud curtain
slip through
crawl across
scarred wax
frozen landscape
slient night
mocking
star-lacquered
pickpocket
fingers dip
into cracks
raise gooseflesh
trail snail
slime shadows
diaphanous
lunatic fringe
forever dead
fingers draw
chalk outlines
steal passage
on blackwater
broadcast
syllables
of lust
naked longing
high tide

Woo hoo! Thanks so much, John- I'm glad you chose this poem; it's always been one of my personal favorites. I was experimenting using a minimalist form, ten lines per each three stanzas, no more than four syllables/two words per line. I'm honored to be included in the Library again. :)

My pleasure! I believe "Muse" and "Greenheart" from HardDrive/SoftWear are already in the online library, so this makes for a tri-perfecta!
