Recalcitrant
stupidity
sits in its forte.
Dumbness,
numb's call...
ignorance
wears a blind.
Faith sweeps
its stick (its shtick,
or stich); & corn-
ered truth
throws up
its hands,
seen as its called,
being as it is.

Goodness.. had the hardest time getting in here to leave a comments... not sure what the issues was.
Anyway... I always like Franke's poems.. they remind me of Smith's with good word play in them. Glad your posting more of them. Thanks...

He gave me permission to post any of his poetry I wanted. So more will be on their way, as time and inclination permit.
